displays, storytelling and more!

"Recycling" Fashion Show
|
The search is on for America’s Next Top ‘Recycling’
Model to show off this season’s “trashiest” outfit
created from recyclable materials! The Fashion Show
will be hosted Saturday of the event at 11:30am at the Festival.
Any
interested child in grades Kindergarten through 6th
Grade may enter this fun competition.
Fashion show
contestants will be judged in the divisions Grades K
- 3 and Grades 4 - 6.
All contestants must be
present at the Tres Rios Nature and Earth Festival
on Saturday by 11:30am for the runway
show at 12:00pm. The registration table will direct
participants to the stage where contestants will
showcase their outfit in the Recycling Fashion
Show. Contestants will compete within their division
and winners will be announced at the completion of
the divisions. |

Entry forms must be completed
and turned in no later than 11:00am, Saturday at the
event
at the site of the Festival. Contestants may
pre-register by sending completed forms to
Oscar.Mabry@luke.af.mil
All Recycling Show entries
must contain only recyclable materials, which include cardboard,
steel/tin, aluminum, plastics, paper cartons, chipboard,
newspaper, mixed papers (magazines, junk mail, and catalogs),
paper bags, and glass.
A ll contestants will be judged according to the following areas:
- Use of Recyclable Materials
- Creativity
- Originality
- Level of Effort by Child
- Recyclable Factor
Each contestant will receive a prize for entering; also 1st, 2nd
and 3rd place winners will receive additional prizes for each
division.
